2012 French Advertisement Calendar

This past weekend was spent getting my 2012 calendars done.  I had started the French graphics calendar awhile back, but the calendar needed a couple of tweaks.  Here is the final product; graphics are courtesy of The Graphics Fairy, my favorite site for free graphics.  This one page mini calendar is also listed in my little Etsy Shop.  Happy Holidays, everyone!

2012 Vintage Postcard Calendar

After many hours of working on the 2012 Calendar, I can finally post on this little blog spot.  The vintage images were provided by my two favorite websites, The Graphics Fairy and Luna Girl.  I also have a weakness for interesting fonts, and find my favourite fonts for free at these two websites, Abstract Fonts, and Dafont. Hope these links help in our creative vein that runs through us all.  Wish mine would slow down.  My housecleaning is getting pushed off!  Hope you love the little calendar.  You will find it listed for sale at my Little Etsy Shop.  Have a wonderful holiday, everyone!

Little Christmas Terra Cotta Gift Pot

A little four inch flower pot was carefully painted with an olive green and then white. After a gentle sanding for a time worn look, the pot was filled with shredded antique sheet music. The lid was designed with vintage graphics from my favorite blog site, The Graphics Fairy. and a pull string of jute allows ease of filling with chocolate, tea candles, jewelry, bath soaps or any other wonderful little gift. The underside of the lid is a vintage graphic of sheet music. This decorative terra cotta pot is a gift in itself. The pot measures 4' high and 4 1/2" across the top.   You will also find this sweet little pot for sale in My Etsy Store.

Little French Terra Cotta Gift Pot

A little four inch flower pot was carefully painted with an olive green and then white. After a gentle sanding for a time worn look, the pot was filled with shredded antique sheet music. The lid was designed with vintage graphics from my very favorite Blogspot, The Graphics Fairy,    A pull string of jute allows ease of filling with chocolate, tea candles, jewelry, bath soaps or any other wonderful little gift. The pot measures 4' high and 4 1/2" across the top.   Three other pots have been created and adorned with French advertising and acorn leaves and feathers.  The graphics on the front of the pots were applied with a transfer of gel medium.  Hope you love them, as they are all for sale in my little Etsy Shop!

Little Pieces of Art

Two of my most favorite sites for images are "The Graphics Fairy" who provided the frame image for our little piece of art.  The beautiful maiden came from "Paper Whimsy", a stunning collection of images.  There is a total set of four pieces of artwork at this time.  The images have been adhered to old paper from a book of French literature.  The artwork will be posted for sale on my Etsy site tomorrow.  My Etsy Store

Yellow Canary French Sign

The success of the Little French Table rendered another sweet wood sign.  The graphics are from The Graphics Fairy, a site that I visit at least once a day.  The sign is a part of an old cabinet door which has been whitewashed with several coats of paint.  After painting, the graphics were applied with a gel medium transfer.
This vintage French graphic sign is available at My Little Store.  For more details, please leave a comment.

Little French Table

Recently I found a little dining set at a garage sale.  I envisioned the set to look completely different and here are the before and after results!  I started by painting four coats of Satin water base paint.  The graphics came from our wonderful site, The Graphics Fairy.  I then used the gel transfer method to finish the table.  The little French table has become a gift for my stepdaughter, who just moved into her first apartment.  Other products may be found at My Etsy Store.  Thanks for checking in!
